Vulnerable lives...
It had been quite some time since I last blogged. Wanted to post pictures of MJ and Liana’s party but I am way too lazy to do it… LOL
Well, loads of stuff happened. Earthquakes, cyclones, all those natural disasters…
All I can say that I am glad that I am born in Singapore where there all no natural disasters… The most is that when our neighboring countries had earthquakes, some that live near the coast are able to feel a little bit of the quake… But then it’s nothing else… We even had some other islands blocking the tsunami from hitting us too…
But at the same time, I feel for those who are suffering from the cyclone and earthquakes right now… It’s just so sad… I remember reading about this teacher who sacrifice herself to save her students when the earthquake strikes. I was really touched… All those articles that I read on the earthquake in Sezchuan really touched me and I nearly cried over some articles… All those parents looking for their kids… The happiness of the rescuers when they found survivors… What sadden me the most is that a lot of schools are affected by the earthquake. Most of the victims are so young… It’s really sad…
All that we can do is try to help in whatever way we can do… If we really can’t do much, at least give them our moral support. That’s the least we can do…
Life is really vulnerable… Just a natural disaster or an epidemic, thousands or even hundreds of thousand lives will be lost… Just like that…
You know, no matter what happened, being able to live is the most important…
